ProSource Moves Lighting Training to New Experience Center in Colorado

ProSource hosts final lighting training at Lighting Technology and Learning Center at Dallas Market Center and is moving training to new Experience Center in Golden, Colorado

August 20, 2024 — ProSource, the largest audio, video, and integration group in the United States, holds final lighting training at it’s lighting training showroom in Dallas, Texas.

ProSource has a long tradition of supporting growing brands and new business verticals in our industry.   The lighting category is no different.  The ProSource Lighting Technology and Learning Center opened in January 2021 in Dallas, Texas as a way to support our lighting partners and to train ProSource Members on how to engage in the lighting category. The space provided hands-on live Level 2 lighting training.

The customized space was designed by David Warfel and Mark Langston, both of Light Can Help You, a lighting design firm and exclusive ProSource partner for education. The space featured multiple residential rooms showcasing smart home systems and devices for the benefit of ProSource members with the support of the vendor partners: Proluxe by American Lighting; Colorbeam Lighting; DMF Lighting; Savant/USAI; Vantage; and AiSPiRE, a WAC company.

In the 4 years the space was in use, the LTLC space has welcomed over 400 attendees between the Lighting Technology Certification (Level 2) training and the newly designed Lighting Launchpad training. The training has resulted in very strong lighting category growth throughout the country.

As the business began to mature, it was clear that we needed to change the curriculum to support the end-to-end business model through this growth phase.

Once again it is time to evolve the lighting training support.   While we will have many fond memories of our productive engagements in the LTC facility, it is time to move our lighting center into our ProSource 1010 Experience Center in Golden Colorado. At 1010 we will once again advance our Lighting Training support and center to show the most current advancements in Lighting Technology.

2025 Launchpad training dates at the ProSource 1010 Experience Center are:

  • 2/24 – 2/27
  • 5/5 – 5/8
  • 6/23 – 6/27
  • 9/23 – 9/26

Registration for each date will open a few months ahead of each training.
