CTA COVID-19 Report

Over the weekend, President Trump signed a series of executive actions in response to a breakdown in congressional talks on a new COVID-19 stimulus package. The executive orders seek to defer the payroll tax, provide additional funding for monthly unemployment benefits, provide relief for student loan borrowers, and provide eviction relief for renters and homeowners.

These executive orders will likely be subject to legal challenges.
